The reunion is HERE. The committee members have completed the details of their events. The invitations have been sent, the entertainment has been selected. The menu has been set. All that is needed now is for YOU to enjoy the event…that is if you are attending. If you are not attending, we wish you were and hope you will consider the next reunion.
We are still looking for several classmates. Please check the “Missing Classmates” page, if you know the contact information, whereabouts, or status of anyone on that page please use the form on the page to get the information to us.
Here are the planned Events:
- Ladies Night Out: All ladies are invited to Ruth Plagens Iacoviello’s home on Friday, September 11 from 4 to 9 PM for fun and reminiscing. Bring your own beverage! - Men’s Night Out: All men are invited to join Mike Morgan on Friday, September 11 at the Holiday Inn Bar from 5 PM – ?? to catch up on the last 50 years. Cash bar “on your own dime”. There is no registration for this event Mike said “just show up, I’ll be at the bar”
- Golf Outing: Saturday morning at Rolling Meadows Golf Course. Shot gun start at 9 AM. 18 holes with cart $35/9 holes with cart $20. Prizes awarded for first 9 holes only. Who will win the coveted booby prize? Email Al Koepke if you wish to play: ajkoepke@att.net or call 920-960-8579.
- Lunch at Gillies and “Cruise the gut”: Saturday 11:30 AM meet at the picnic area behind Gillies on South Main Street for lunch at your own expense. Then perhaps reminisce with a cruise down Main Street, through beautiful Lakeside Park, and back to Gillies for an ice cream treat at your own expense and at your own leisure.
- 50th Reunion Sit-Down Dinner/Short Program: Join us in the newly opened Holiday Inn Lake Winnebago Conference Center. Registration, meet and greet, cash bar with snacks provided from 4:30 to 6:00. Dinner/Short Program beginning at 6:00. Then mingle and catch up on 50 years following the program.
Our plan is to create a digital reunion booklet with a brief bio and contact information for all members of the class of 1965. The digital copy will be free (that’s a good price). If you wish to receive a hardcopy the cost will be $5.00 (that also is a good price). Once again we need your help with this. When you return your invitation registration page please take the time to send an email with this brief bio to fondyclassof65@gmail.com or if you are not the “techno-weenie” type send your bio via USPS (snail) mail to Sharon Klein Steger, 21 Heritage Lane, Fond du Lac, WI 54935. If you are not planning to attend, please provide the bio and profile anyway…we really would like to how you doing and what you have done for the past 50 years. To help us with the creation of this booklet getting the information to us sooner is way better than later.
